Accounts Payable Supervisor (MCE 554)

The Supervisor of Accounts Payable is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of payables and ensuring that all applicable policies, regulations, reporting, and record keeping are consistently adhered to. The Supervisor of Accounts Payable is the liaison with applicable vendors, agencies, and other company departments, and assists or initiates enhancements and /or implementation to policies and procedures. Areas of responsibility could include the following: expense and support, purchases, or analysis and research. The Supervisor of Accounts Payable is responsible for the supervision, guidance, and training of assigned Accounts Payable clerks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years related experience
  
• Two year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
  
• Proven supervision skills
  
• Strong communication (spoken and written),
  
• Strong problem solving skills
  
• Professional level knowledge of accounting and finance, and knowledge of systems and processes as they apply to assigned areas of responsibility
  
• Advanced Excel skills
  
• Intermediate Word skills
  
• Valid Driver’s License required for occasional travel
