Directs the efforts of the Center Store merchandising category to stay on course with strategies and financials; works collaboratively with all team members to create effective relationships with branded and exclusive brand vendor relationships; establishes strategic relations with key suppliers, and manages vendor funding to drive profitable category growth. Responsible for determining all items that will be carried; reviews full assortment and develops plan that addresses consumer needs and local relevance. Reviews lines and new items with national vendors and owns discontinue/markdown planning for all items. Works in collaboration with Operations to collect category performance feedback, and leads merchandising planning for assigned categories based on store clusters and ethnicity information. Approves section sizes and adjacencies in schematic plans for individually managed categories; oversees vendor relations, negotiates terms and manages funds for individually managed categories; reviews contracts and presents them to Senior Management for sign off. Visits vendors when necessary. Leads, coaches and develops Corporate Center Store staff members; approves all support area recommendations (brand marketing, merchandising, pricing, promotional planning, ethnic formats and quality assurance).

    Knowledge of: Must have a strong knowledge base in retail and an understanding of consumer behavior in relation to product performance. Must have detailed understanding of cause-effect relations between operational levers and performance (i.e. assortment/price vs. volume/margins) by utilizing financial, statistical, and merchandising.

    Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside of the company. Must demonstrate the ability to negotiate contracts and terms in order to gain maximum advantage for costs and vendor funding opportunities; experience in developing complicated and national contracts.     Desktop Support Supervisor (MCE-697)

    The Desktop Support Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all user equipment and user stations, including PCs, laptops, thin client formats, tablets, copiers, printers, fax machines, and smart phones are running to the best of their capacity.     Requirements:

    Knowledge of: Repair of Personal Computing systems of all types, including laptops, desktops, smart phone systems and tablets of any sort. Knowledge of Novell Zenworks or other remote management systems helpful.

    Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical, planning and organization/time management skills.     Help Desk Technician (MCE-696)

    The Help Desk Technician’s role is to ensure issues are acknowledged and resolved in a timely manner for internal customers’ IT related issues and retail customers for all issues related to products and our overall customer experience. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic tools and or escalation to the next level of support. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for answering all calls to the Support Center, create and assign tickets appropriately after obtaining all needed information to address the issues, pick up all emails and voice mails, returning call to gather needed information before creating and assigning tickets for the next level. This position will also monitor the Support Desk queue for timely completion of issue tickets, follow up on calls if needs, and ensure satisfactory issue resolution with our customers.

    Requirements:

    Education Requirement: One year college (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).

    Knowledge of: Customer service/phone support.

    Skills and Abilities: Clear communication skills (speaking and listening), phone customer service or support, ability to handle challenging situations with calm and confidence. Must have ability to learn basics of company equipment and store procedures that the Support Center supports.

    Work Experience: Two years related experience.

    Other: Sitting for extended periods of time. This is a 7 day rotating shift position that changes based on our customers’ needs.

    Director of Network Administration and Security (MCE-694)

    The Director of Network Administration and Security provides ongoing operational guidance and hands on support for enterprise-wide technology resources. Oversees and maintains all network and security systems, ensuring company’s technological vision is current with market standards. Evaluates and restructures network architecture and operations to improve performance, reliability, scalability, cost efficacy, connectivity, flexibility, and productivity of network users. Interacts with procurement to ensure budgetary control, timely delivery, and operational requirements. Develops, manages, and leads execution of annual business plans and budgets. Maintains regulations and guidelines such as those governing personal information privacy, HIPAA, and PCI. Plays a lead role in annual PCI Audit and compliance.

    Requirements:

    Education Requirement: Four-year degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).

    Knowledge of: Strong background in networking and security for a large highly-distributed processing environment; ideally a (tier 1) retailer. Also required is knowledge of best practices for compliance with regulatory bodies such as HIPAA and PCI security protocol, policies and procedures. Strong background in providing highly reliable, appropriately performing and secure networking services in a cost effective manner.

    Accounts Payable Clerk (MCE-687)

    The purpose of this position is to support the Accounts Payable Supervisor(s) in all non-routine activities. This will include communication with existing vendors to assist in the implementation of HQ automated store receiving system (DSD), the process and audit of all invoices from super vendors, report of vendor disputes, monitor of vendor interface, escalate vendor issues regarding billing resolution, and provide summative reports to department supervisors and managers regarding interface, vendor automation, and billing resolution.

    Requirements:

    Education Requirement: One year of college or vocational school (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).

    Knowledge of: Advanced knowledge in Accounts Payable.

    Skills and Abilities: Intermediate computer skills (Excel and Word), 10-key, data entry and calculation skills, strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required. This position requires the ability to work accurately and under deadlines. The Level VI Clerk must have the proven ability to work in a busy environment handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

    The Maintenance Manager ensures proper, efficient, and safe operation of store equipment through effective management of costs for maintenance and repairs. Manages a team of Repair and Maintenance Technicians. Reviews and processes repair estimates, provides scheduling, coordination and monitoring of venders, provides advice to store personnel, manages day-to-day operations of maintenance contracts, analyzes service related expenses.

    Requirements:

    Education Requirement: Two year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).

    Knowledge of: Store operations, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and other trades involved in store construction, blueprints.

    Skills and Abilities: Strong management, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.  Intermediate Excel and basic Word skills.

    Work Experience: Minimum three years applicable experience.

    Other: Occasional travel required.
